This was a lot more scary to read than the last edition, I couldn’t finish it the first time reading because it was after dark. I like that the author kept the previous scenes especially the part with the finger. I thought that it was really well written. The new parts with the protagonist trying to run away from the existential terror was really good. They drive all night and start to think that they were imagining the whole thing when they find a diner, something that hasn’t disappeared but they are sadly mistaken and resign to their fate. Even their memories of the horror plaguing them disappears at the end which I thought was really horribly creepy and I love stuff like that.
